Fair Rosamond leaving Clarence Cove on the island of Fernando Po, in the evening of September 7, 1831, in pursuit of two slavers reported to be loading their human cargo on the Bonny River.  Title from a line in Sir Henry Huntley’s book, Seven Years' Service on the Slave Coast of Western Africa (Thos. Newby Publ., 1850).  Ship based on lines and sail plan taken off the Rosamond at Portsmouth Navy Yard in 1832.
